Potterheads: A Harry Potter Club for Tweens & Teens

HPsymbolsJoin an alliance of Harry Potter fans, or “Potterheads”, to discuss all things Harry Potter! Take part in Harry Potter activities and games, discuss the books and movies, make wizardly crafts, and more!

The club will meet every 4th Tuesday of the month from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Meetings for the spring: March 28, April 25, May 23 (No December or February meeting)

Free and open to all students in grades 5 to 12. Please register.



Teen Advisory Group

Do you have ideas for teen events and programming? Do you like to mess around with techy gadgets and computer programs? Join the Teen Advisory Group and be a part of the future of the library. Earn volunteer hours by helping out at the library!


College Prep

Practice SAT and ACT Exams: C2 Education of Fairfield will host free practice SAT and ACT exams one Saturday a month from January-April. Upcoming dates: April 1. Please register.

College4Less of North Haven: A free workshop on college financial planning. Tuesday, March 28 at 6:30 pm. Please register.

College Admissions: Applying as an Athlete: Join Michael Newcomer (Ph.D, Yale University), founder and president of Bulldog Tutors, for a discussion on the college admissions process for aspiring college athletes. Topics covered will include how and when to start preparing, what coaches need you to do in order for you to be recruited, and how the timeline departs from traditional admissions processes. Saturday, April 8 at 12 pm. Please register.


Gaming: Guilford Gamers

gamecontrollersJoin a club of fellow gamers! Play games on the Library’s Xbox One or Wii, or bring your own gaming equipment to set up. Hang out and play and talk all things video games, tabletop games, PC games, and more.

This group will meet monthly on the first Friday.

Free and open to all students in grades 5 to 12. No registration required.
