Phil Rosenthal photoJoin us on the Library patio for a summer concert featuring Phil Rosenthal.

Acclaimed bluegrass/folk musician and Guilford resident Phil Rosenthal has been a member of many bands, including Apple Country, the Seldom Scene, Old Dog and Bluegrass Reunion. He will be performing as a soloist in an outdoor concert at the Guilford Free Library on July 29th, 7 p.m. Phil will be playing guitar, banjo, mandola and dobjo, and singing traditional and contemporary songs, including his own compositions (which have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Bill Monroe, Nick Cave and others). Phil was appointed Connecticut State Troubadour in 1994.

The concert will be canceled if there is bad weather.
