Potterheads: A Harry Potter Club for Tweens & Teens

HPsymbolsJoin an alliance of Harry Potter fans, or “Potterheads”, to discuss all things Harry Potter! Take part in Harry Potter activities and games, discuss the books and movies, make wizardly crafts, and more!

The club will meet every 4th Tuesday of the month from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Next meeting: May 23

Potterheads will take a break for the summer and be back in September!

Free and open to all students in grades 5 to 12. Please register.


College Prep

Practice SAT and ACT Exams: C2 Education of Fairfield will host free practice SAT and ACT exams. Upcoming dates: June 17. Please register.

Making the Most of College: How to Impress Your Future Employers:

Join Michael Newcomer (Ph.D, Yale University), founder and president of Bulldog Tutors, for a discussion on how employers evaluate what applicants have done on the way to earning their degree. Topics will include resume building, how to maximize your college extracurriculars, internship hunting, and when to apply to postgrad opportunities. Saturday, May 13 at 12 pm. Please register.


Gaming: Guilford Gamers

gamecontrollersJoin a club of fellow gamers! Play games on the Library’s Xbox One or Wii, or bring your own gaming equipment to set up. Hang out and play and talk all things video games, tabletop games, PC games, and more.

This group will meet monthly on the first Friday.

Free and open to all students in grades 5 to 12. No registration required.
