Every year, for the past 17 years, Guilford resident, Dianne Albright has created stunning artistic displays on the preschool bulletin board. It stays up for a year, with a different theme each time. It takes Dianne several months to plan and create the design.  When it’s all ready, her husband Ray helps her assemble it.  It takes most of the day to do this.

In 1992, Dianne won the Friends of Connecticut Libraries annual Award for Outstanding Contribution to Library Services.

Dianne and Ray recently put up this latest bulletin board in the newly renovated children’s preschool area and it is entitled, “The Magic is Back.”  Adults all comment on its creative beauty but it’s especially gratifying to see the children look at it in awe!
