Our new program “Tots and Tunes” was a success. Look for it to begin again in the fall as a 6 week program.

Diana Dart Harris and her students from the New Haven Ballet gave a movement class and did a short performance to entertain the children.



In the month of April, the One-Fish Two-Fish Home School Troupe under the direction of Laurie Kennedy performed four short plays based on poetry, including Jabberwocky and The Owl and the Pussy Cat.

In February and March the children's librarians conducted a dance party for the kids and parents. Everyone danced to old favorites and new.

Rachel Yaffe did a program on Passover with a story, craft, and food for children ages 3 to 10

Connecticut author, Carol Weiss read to children from her new book, "When the Cows Got Loose".



 

The Children's Room offers activities, services and materials for children of all ages, including books, audio cassettes, videos, CD-ROMs, pre-school toys, book lists, computer activities, and story hours for all ages.
