On May 6th, 2008, Christina the Magician entertained the second-graders from Clinton Avenue School in New Haven and the second-graders from the Melissa Jones School in Guilford as part of the Friends of the Library Outreach Program.

Sharyn Berman of Dancealife Productions gave swing and tango lessons Thursday night!

18 participants joined us to learn some cooking skills and recipes from Katie Wilton, of Cooking With Katie. We tasted cream cheese filled strawberries, parmesan pita triangles, pizza wontons, berry smoothies, and deviled eggs. Yum! All of these recipes can be found in Ms. Wilton's cookbook, You're the Cook! Bon Appetit!

Over 50 children and adults came to the library to see two baby llamas visiting from Lakeside Feed. Brook and Casey behaved extremely well, and everyone was allowed to pet them.
